Welcome to In a Dark Wood

I was born and raised in West Texas and transplanted to Virginia by the USMC in the 80s. Over the years, I've lived in California, Kentucky, South Carolina, Colorado, Nepal, and Hong Kong. I've travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. I love dark alleys, side streets in ancient Asian cities, abandoned houses, and various combinations of those.

Nestled in Fairfax, VA, I draw inspiration from the eerie beauty of foggy nights and dark woods for my writing.
